To the woman who complained about the prices rising every time she purchases the same items. Take a stroll to Bakery Delite in Plains and compare prices. Sanitary Bakery's fruit danish is $1.50 each, Bakery Delete is $3.00 each, and their nut, poppy seed rolls are $18.00 each.

Simply the BEST!! I haven't had a baked treat from Sanitary that I didn't thoroughly enjoy. We get their treats for all of our special occasion too. The prices are very reasonable especially for the quality!

Love this place!!! It's so cute inside, and the staff is so friendly and organized. It gets really busy, but they handle it really well by taking numbers and they are pretty quick at filling orders. The pastries are delicious! The bread is excellent and so cheap, and even their coffee is delicious.
This is a mom and pop bakery situated in a residential section of Nanticoke. Lord, thank goodness I don't live within walking distance of this gem!! There is a nice size parking lot on the side of the building. We ordered 50 cupcakes for an engagement party (If you attempt to call and there is no answer, keep trying! It's worth it!) I ordered chocolate and vanilla cupcakes with white frosting and edible glitter. They don't overly frost the cupcakes--but it's a perfect amount. When I went to pick them up at 1 o'clock on a Saturday, the line was out the door. Their cases are filled with so much deliciousness--bread, cakes, donuts, pies, cookies.... Yep, you guessed it....I walked out with more than just cupcakes! The hummingbird cake is awesome and I also picked up a few brownies for my fiancé since he isn't a big cake fan. He loved them and I got so many compliments about the cupcakes. Service here isn't overly friendly, but they were nice and I had no complaints.
